So, somehow I wandered into this video clip and instantly had my mind blown. Who is this guy? Does anyone have more information?! The arrangement is freaking beautiful!

Large Hadron Collider song
You remember the Large Hadron Collider, right? Sure, you do, 17-mile-long tunnel near Geneva, Switzerland? Supposed to make particles accelerate and collide and possibly give us more information about the Big Bang, and whatnot? Or, maybe you remember it as the giant science thingy that when you turn it on, the world ends? In either case, Will Howells wrote this little ditty about it.
Original ‘Ukulele Hero’ drawing to be auctioned
I'm not sure how I missed this the first time around, but apparently Warren Buffet is a Ukulele aficionado. The original drawing, from the Omaha World-Herald, appeared after Buffet described why he loves the Ukulele. That is to say, because it's "cheap, portable and useful for courting".
Rad.
“The Good the Bad the Ugly” performed by Ukulele Orchestra of GB
While it's a proven fact that all ukulele players are exceptionally charming and attractive, this video proves what I've always known deep in my heart. We are also gifted with fantastic sense of humor. The intro portion of "The Good, the Bad, the Ugly" by the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Brittan is freaking hilarious! Then they go on to completely nail this Ennio Morricone masterpiece.
Bret, from Flight of the Conchords?!
Oh to live in New Zealand! The beautiful countryside, the fat American LOTR fans that surely litter the aforementioned landscape these days, Flight of the Conchords and the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra. Yup, and to put syrup on the whole deal, Bret McKenzie, from Flight of the Conchords, performs in the orchestra and co-founded it. Listen to this,
"Classic songs by Prince, Johnny Cash, Kings of Leon and others will be heard when the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra rocks the Lake Wanaka Centre on Sunday and Monday nights." -- Otago Daily Times
I think I would literally kill for this. Well, I guess I'll settle for the next best thing. Playing "Leggy Blonde" on my ukulele and crying myself to sleep.
